Alice M. Shea of Kingston died on Dec. 22, 2009 at the Life Care Center in Plymouth at the age of 76. She was the wife of the late James J. Shea. Mother of Jerry Shea and his wife Michele of Brookfield, Judith Gropman and her husband Bill of Onset, Elizabeth Nichols and her husband Bill of Kingston and the late James Shea Jr and Michael Shea. Sister of John McCarthy Jr and his wife Carolyn of Kingston, Mary Dellecese of Bourne and the late Alexander McCarthy and Jacqueline O'Meara. Grandmother of 8 and Great Grandmother of 1 . Alice was born in Dorchester, summered in Kingston, lived in Alaska and CA before moving to Kingston permanently in 1966. Calling Hours will be held on Mon. Dec. 28, 2009 from 4-7pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St Kingston (RT106). Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Tues. Dec. 29, 2009 at 9am followed by a mass at St Joseph's Church in Kingston at 10am. Burial will be in St Joseph's Cemetery in Kingston
