Arthur R. DeMullis, "Art", 77, of Carver and formerly of Halifax, passed away on August 24, 2024.

Arthur was born in Abington on April 16, 1947. He went to high school at Silver Lake, in Kingston. Following high school Arthur joined the Navy in 1967 and transitioned to the Naval Reserve in 1972 until retiring in 1993 as a proud member of the Seabees.  When he retired from the military, he became a truck driver until he retired at age 76. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife for several years. Then started seasonal camping with his family and friends.  Arthur always enjoyed meeting, and talking with family, friends or whoever he meet.

Arthur is survived by his loving wife Linda L DeMullis, of Carver. Beloved Father to Michael Cook and wife Karen of Gloucester, VA, Jill DeMullis of Pembroke MA, Kate (DeMullis) Cory and her husband James of Pembroke, and Kristine Pentz of Bridgewater. Cherished Grandfather to  Matthew Cobb,, Ronan Cory, McKenzie Hornsby, Stephen Cook and Connor Pentz, and Great Grandfather to Mila May Cobb and Colton Hornsby. Brother to Patrica (DeMullis) Cook of  Pembroke, and Jacquline (DeMullis) Cutter of Halifax.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 28th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. Arthur will be laid to rest at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Wednesday, September 4th at 9:45 AM.
