Carl Wallace Linde, 86, of Marshfield, MA, passed away on May 7, 2020 in Weymouth, MA.

An interment ceremony will be held graveside at Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury, MA on November 13, 2026 at 11 am. A buffet will follow at Mamma Mia’s Restaurant, 93 Careswell St, Marshfield. Shepherd Funeral Home is handling the funeral arrangements.

Carl was born in Quincy, MA to Myron and Gwendolyn (nee Clary) Linde on June 1,1933. He graduated from Duxbury High School in 1953. He worked as a draftsman for much of his adult life. He adored his twelve nieces and nephews, enjoyed barbershop quartet, photography, travel, watching the boats on the Marshfield and Duxbury waterfronts, and collecting steins, first day issue stamps, and miniature bottles of liquor.

Carl is survived by his wife, Ann L. Linde of Marshfield, MA, his brother, Donald Linde of Waterbury, VT and Lady Lake, FL, and a dozen nieces and nephews, as well as their children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gerald and his sisters, Shirley and Betty.
