Catherine Ann Spillane, 67, of Halifax passed away on January 5, 2025.

Cathie was a very kind and caring person who throughout her life supported her family and friends in times of need, especially women. She was very close to her late parents and enjoyed travelling making memories for her three daughters.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed hosting gatherings, decorating, floral design, and cooking. Cathie was also a talented artist who enjoyed making & painting crafts for her small business in her early adult life. Later she followed a calling to works as a CNA specifically to new mothers in the labor & delivery department at SSH. She loved to play card games and was an avid reader. She was a strong willed independent woman that gave sound compassionate advice.

She loved spending time with her two grandsons and was very excited about her new granddaughter expected in May.

She will be dearly missed and will forever be in the hearts of her husband Shawn Spillane, daughters Shauna Trudell, Kaitlyn Spillane, Danielle Spillane and grandchildren Troy Trudell & Ethan Trudell
