Doris Ann Ghilardi, 70, of Plympton Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2022. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Richard Gafney and Barbara Gafney. She lived in Plympton for over 40 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, James P. Ghilardi and their three sons, Matthew Ghilardi of Halifax, Marc Ghilardi of Hanson and Jeffrey and his wife Heather of Plympton. She is also survived by her brother Jim Gallagher of Quincy and her predeceased brothers Joe and Timmy.

Doris most enjoyed spending time and playing card games with her four granddaughters; Brianna Ghilardi, Brooke Ghilardi, Avery and Zoey Ghilardi. The girls will greatly miss their beloved Nanna. Doris loved traveling with Jimmy with one of their favorite trips being to New Zealand. In addition to traveling Doris had many amazing girls' weekends and pool days with her best friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Holy Apostles Parish (Our Lady of the Lake Church), 575 Monponsett Street, Halifax MA 02338 on Friday, August 5th at 11AM. Burial will follow at the Town of Halifax Cemetery.
