Elizabeth Elaine Mellen, 92, of South Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on January 21, 2026, in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Elaine was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, on May 12, 1933, to the late Walter and Irene (Nicholson) Mellen. She worked for many years as a seamstress at the Archdiocese of Boston's central laundry facility.

Elaine was predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Walter, Ralph, and John Mellen, and by her sisters, Mary Russell, Lois Priolo, and June Geddes.

She did not have children of her own, but she was a loving aunt who cared deeply for her nieces and nephews and kept them in her prayers. She shared a particularly close bond with her niece Laura, who regularly checked in on her and helped care for her.
