Fung Yau (Helen) Ip of West Roxbury and formerly of Carver, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026 at Stone Rehabilitation & Senior Living Center in Newton, Massachusetts.

Helen was born in China on May 30, 1936 and was married to Peter Ip in Hong Kong. Helen & Peter moved to London, England, then to Montreal, Canada before moving to Carver, Massachusetts. After the passing of Peter in 2003, Helen moved to West Roxbury.

She is survived by her two sons, Allan and his wife Cindy, grandchildren Ryan of Raynham, Colleen of Florida and Allan and his family of Wareham, Elden and his wife Joan of Pembroke and grandchildren Emily of Hingham and Brandon of Maine, her brothers, Yee Kai Yee and his wife Gloria and her three nieces Eliza, Andrea and Jennifer of Chestnut Hill and her brother Kai Wing Yee and his wife Janet of Newfoundland, her niece, Angela of Nova Scotia, nephews Jimmy of Newfoundland and Tommy of Hawaii.

A small casual Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 29th at 10:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home in Carver, followed by a Graveside Service at Carver Center Cemetery at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to join us, however for all those with long distance travel and prior obligations, your thoughts and prayers are all that we ask.
