BRAINTREE – Hildegard I. Seitz passed away peacefully on August 10, 2022 at the age of 89. Born in Coburg, Germany, Hilde spent most of her life in Scituate, Carver, and Sarasota, Florida at the side of her loving husband, the late Floyd S. Seitz ("Scotty").

Hilde was the beloved mother of Melisa and her husband Paul Scarpino, and of her late son, Thomas S. Seitz. Hilde was daughter to the late Frederick and Helena Hafner, sister to the late Inge Caldwell, and Alfred and Carl Hafner.

Hilde began her life in America as a hair stylist and retired as a dedicated and caring hospice nurse. She had a passion for gardening, dancing, music, walking, and nature. Hilde always appreciated love and the beauty of the simple things that God gives us every day and she expressed it with her positive manner, beautiful smile, and sense of humor. Those that were blessed to know her will miss her.

As the wife of veteran Floyd S. Seitz, Hilde will be buried with her husband at Bourne National Cemetery.
