James Der (Jim, Jimmy), 71 of Carver MA passed away late March 18, 2024. James was born June 27, 1952, in Medford MA. He graduated from Medford High School in 1971. After high school he went into the Army reserves. He then graduated from IBEW Local 103 electrical school. He loved being with family, his plants, doing puzzles, being outside and his Harley Davidson.  James is preceded in death by his mother Lila Der and his father Richard Der.

He is survived by the love of his life Patricia Der (wife) and their four children; Steven Der, Keith Der, Katelyn Der and Courtney Der, and his little girl Elianna Bean (granddaughter). He is also survived by his brothers Kenneth Der, Bernard Der and his sister Lillian McIsaac.

He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

Calling hours for James will be held on Sunday March 24th  from 4 to 7 at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St. Carver, Ma. A Graveside service will be held on Monday at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston at 12:00.
