Jeffrey B. Shorey, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Plymouth on July 20 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Worcester, MA he spent many years in Hanover, Brockton and Carver before settling in Plymouth. Jeff was a lifelong land surveyor, working for both himself and others. He belonged to several surveying organizations, was a member of the Upland riders, and an avid outdoor enthusiast including softball, fishing, snowboarding and golf. He was extremely devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. Jeff was blessed by an abundance of friends who appreciated his humor and caring nature.

He is survived by his loving wife Eileen (Sullivan) of 52 years; his son, Jeffrey and husband Chad Argotsinger and grandchildren, Jon, Ray, and Brynn of Plymouth; his daughter Kym and husband Chad Knight of Plymouth; brother Robert and wife Justine Shorey of Pembroke; sister-in-law Barbara and late husband Anthony Primo of Weymouth; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
