Joan M. LaFargue of Pembroke, MA left us peacefully at her home on November 11, 2024, at the age of 87.

Joan was born in Boston on July 19, 1937, and was the youngest of six children born to Francis and Mary (Mackey) Coughlin. Throughout her life, she cherished the time spent with family and friends as a devoted homemaker. Her love for cooking, baking, and entertaining truly brought joy to those around her, and she had a special place in her heart for animals.

For 56 wonderful years, Joan was the beloved wife of Leo V. LaFargue. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Michelle F. (LaFargue) Minors of Franklin, MA and Laura A. LaFargue of Pembroke, MA, as well as her loving granddaughter, Brittany (James) Crosby.

Joan is predeceased by her husband Leo V. LaFargue and her son-in-law, Clarence E. Minors Jr.

A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Monday, November 18th at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
