John W. Martz Jr, "Pop", of Duxbury, MA, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home September 10th after a brief illness.

John was born August 21, 1937 in Frederick, MD to John and Charlotte (Aumen) Martz. He is pre-deceased by his brother David.

John served in the Navy  and was a retired laser technician, working worldwide during his career. He enjoyed watching car races both live and televised, loved woodwork, reading, and taking care of his family. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Sallie (McIsaac), his son Jack and daughter-in-law Alice, his grandchildren Holly and Matthew, with wife Aliceson, and his daughter Donna.
