Brooks
January 7, 1943 – June 3, 2026
Joyce (Campers) Brooks, who passed away unexpectedly, June 3rd 2026, was the beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, & friend, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply & will miss her beyond words.
Born to the late Louis & Marvetta Campers, she was one of seven siblings & shared a lifelong bond with her brothers & sisters: Bobby Campers, Louie Campers, the late Barbara Roache, the late Lois Collins, the late Donna O'Brien, & the late Sheila Corbitt. She was the devoted wife of George Brooks, with whom she shared nearly 64 years of marriage filled with love, loyalty, laughter, & family.
Joyce leaves behind her daughter Denise Martin, & she is reunited with her daughters, Linda Feeley & Pamela Brooks-Stone, as well as many loved ones who passed before her. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Heather Martin of Wareham; Bobby Martin & his wife, Cassandra of Plymouth; Samantha Stone of Taunton; Walter Feeley of New Hampshire; Sean Martin of Foxboro; & Ashley & her husband, Justin Andrews of Taunton. She was also the proud great-grandmother of 15 great-grandchildren & was joyfully awaiting the arrival of a great-great-grandchild expected in July.
Joyce was the rock of her family — strong, outspoken, funny, stubborn, & fiercely loyal. She had a story for everything, a sense of humor that could light up a room, & a way of making people feel loved, even when she was giving them a hard time. She spoke her mind, loved with her whole heart, & leaves behind great memories her family will carry forever.
