Kathryn "Kit" D. Smith, 58, died peacefully on February 5, 2018 surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. Kit,was born in Plymouth, MA on June 5, 1959 to the late Marjorie R. (Macomber) and Leslie B. Smith Jr. She spent many years as a Bartender/Waitress at Bobby Hackett's Restaurant in Pembroke, where she created quite a following of customers/friends that enjoyed her company and service so much, that they followed her to various other restaurants for years after Bobby Hackett's closed. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her three grandchildren,Jameson, Collin, and Liana who meant the world to her. Loving mother to Matthew B. Doucette and his wife Schevanya, and Adam J. Doucette and his wife Hannah. She is also survived by her sister Jennifer G. Smith and brother Bradford M. Smith. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Visiting Hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St, Pembroke on Friday, February 9, from 4:00 to 8:00PM.
