It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Katie Marie Heffel, age 38, of Georgia, formerly of Halifax.

Katie was born in Brockton, MA in 1986 and is a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School, class of 2004. Katie loved working with the elderly as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She always enjoyed sharing her stories, both happy and sad, of her day and how it went and would often attend services of her patients that she considered her friends.

Katie is survived by her beloved parents Ann and David Heffel of Halifax. Cherished sister to Douglas (Lacy) Heffel of Bolton, and Kerri (George) Costa of Plymouth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Granddaughter to the late Thomas F. and Eleanor Connolly who loved her dearly.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 25th from 3-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday August 26th at St. Mary's Church, 313 Court St, Plymouth. A graveside service will follow at the St. Joseph cemetery in Kingston.
