Linda Mammone, 79, of Plymouth, MA, formerly of Marshfield and Taunton was called to heaven on December 9, 2023 with her family by her side, while istening to her favorite Christmas music.

Linda was born July 14th, 1944. She met the love of her life, Joe, while working for Stop and Shop and they married in June of 1965, settling in Marshfield shortly thereafter. LInda worked at Stop and Shop for many years as a seafood manager until her retirement in 2000. She lost Joe unexpectedly in February 2005 and gained her faith back becoming a Eucharistic Minister for St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Hanson, Ma. She enjoyed cooking for her beloved priest, Father Mark Hannon.  She also enjoyed spending her spare time watching and feeding hummingbirds, going to Foxwoods, traveling to Disney, and cooking for her grandchildren.  Whenever asked if she needed anything at the store, her famous phrase was "yes, a million dollars".

Linda is survived by her children, Joseph Jr. and wife Debbie of Plymouth, MA, Kerry Mammone of Albany, OR and Karen Mammone of Athens, OH. She also leaves behind her 2 grandsons, Nicholas and his wife Sarah of Plymouth, MA and Michael of Plymouth, MA.  She also leaves behind her brother, Ronny of Delaware along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy, Bobby & Billy.

While she never got her million dollars, she was loved by all. Which is much more than any amount of money could have done.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 30th. Memorial visitng hours will be held from 2:00  to 4:00pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Kingston. A burial will be held at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
