Louise Tolley of Rochester died peacefully at home on Aug.10 of natural causes.  She was 96.

She was a devoted wife and aunt. She was from New Bedford and a former resident of Dartmouth and Harwich

before moving to Rochester.  She was a member of the North Baptist Church of New Bedford. She was a telephone

operator/customer service rep. for the telephone co.  She was an avid golfer.

Her postive attitude, evident throughout her entire life, was inspiring to those around her and she could

always find something to laugh about.  She often stated that she loved life and that she was a people person.

She loved to travel with her husband, other family members, and friends.  She and her husband loved to play golf.

She is survived by her brother, Stanley Manchester and his wife, Paulette, of Westport and her sister-in-law,

Joan Manchester of Dartmouth, her nieces Linda Manchester of Westport, Marsha MacFarland of Rochester,

Sandra Scott of Duxbury, Deborah Jackson of Fairhaven and her nephews Randall Manchester of Dartmouth and

Jeffery Abrams of Westport.

She is predeceased by her devoted and loving husband Raymond Tolley, her sister Flora Scott, and her brothers

William Manchester and Charles Manchester.  Her nieces and nephews, Thomas Scott, Betty Michaud, Carol Sylvia,

Stanley Manchester, Stephen Manchester, Sherl Parent, and Kathleen Ramsay.

A memorial service will be held at a later date TBD.
