Maria “Fatima” Santos, 57, of Taunton, Massachusetts, passed away on September 10, 2026. Born on January 31, 1969, Fatima lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love.

Fatima’s greatest joy was spending time with her beloved sons, Gino and Nikko. Some of their most treasured memories are of cooking together, singing and dancing, and simply enjoying one another’s company. Her love for her sons was immeasurable, and the bond they shared will remain in their hearts forever.

Fatima found happiness in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved visiting farmers markets with her friends each weekend, watching Hallmark movies, going apple picking, and celebrating Christmas. She especially loved giving gifts and bringing joy to the people around her. One of her favorite places was the beautiful Flume Gorge in Lincoln, New Hampshire.

A devoted woman of faith, Fatima loved the Lord deeply. She found strength and comfort in reading her Bible and listening to Christian music. Her faith guided her throughout her life and remained an important part of who she was.

Fatima is survived by her cherished sons, Gino Floriano Montanari and Nikko Deodato Montanari. She was predeceased by her mother, Orminda Santos; her father, Deodato Santos; and her brother, Floriano Santos.

Fatima will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched. Her loving spirit, joyful heart, and devotion to her family and faith will never be forgotten.
