Marie C. Stevens of Plymouth, and formerly of Pembroke died on November 28, 2008. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Stevens was an active volunteer with the Plymouth Public Library, PAC TV in Pembroke, Council on Aging in Pembroke, and taught reading to children in E. Bridgewater. Marie is the wife of the late Francis J. Stevens. Mother of Rosemarie Mowry of Glendale, RI, and Eileen Kelley of Plymouth. Grandmother of Sigurd, Steven, Noah, Jason, Zinamarie, and Erin. Great Grandmother of Alyssa, Kyle, Colby, Elena, Hannah, and Whitley. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd at 11:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston. An hour of visitation will precede the services from 10-11:00AM.
