In the early morning hours of August 13th 2024, Marion Resendes of Carver, Ma passed away peacefully, embraced by tremendous love.

Marion was born on June 10th, 1946 to William & Edith Furness in Everett, Ma. After Marion graduated from Marshfield High in 1964, she began raising a family & focused on the joys of motherhood. A few years later, she began her career in nursing, first as a Licensed Practical Nurse & then moving on to become a Registered Nurse. She worked at Falmouth Hospital for many years, & then at Sandwich Urgent Care Center as Supervisor.

After retiring in 2008, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family, & could be found piecing puzzles together, playing cards, cooking, baking, birdwatching, or tending to her beautiful gardens.

Marion was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Clark, grandson Derek Seychew & brother William Furness.

She is survived by her children Christy Correia of Falmouth, Cindy Murphy of Wareham & David Johnson of Carver, her 4 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren, and her siblings Linda (John) Tassi, Nancy (Howard) Thomas & Barbara ( Delton) Doll, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. in Carver on Saturday August 17th from 1:00-4:00pm.
