Pamela J. Erwin, 73, of Halifax, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 4, 2026. She was the beloved wife of George T. Erwin for 49 years.
Pam is survived by her loving children and their families: Michelle Sullivan and her husband Joseph of Pembroke; Matthew Erwin and his wife Jessica of Carver; Kimberly Moran and her husband Robert of Halifax and Ashley Bosworth and her husband Guy of Carver. She was a loving grandmother to Erik, Lucas, Nicole, Adeline, Gavin, Jacob, Tyler, Nathaniel, Caitlin, and Benjamin.
Pam was born in Middleboro on March 15, 1953, to the late David and Louise Badore. She was the cherished sister of Patricia Smith and her late husband Donald of Hanson; Dennis Badore and his wife Doris of Marshfield; Robert Badore and his wife Bonnie of Halifax; the late Roger Badore survived by his wife Jayne of Whitman and the late Phillip Badore survived by his wife Nancy of Carver. Pam is also lovingly remembered by many caring nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Pam started dating George in 1972. They spent their time together square dancing with the Wagoneers of Kingston and the Lofty Squares of Weymouth. They married in 1977 and made their home in Halifax. She was a bank teller for more than 10 years before devoting her time to her family and babysitting children. Pam was known not only as Mom but also as "Auntie Pam” by many.
For the last 17 years of her life, Pam devoted herself to caring for her beloved grandchildren, a role she cherished above all else. In her spare time, she loved knitting, crocheting, and counted cross stitch, and all kinds of crafts. Pam had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to have fun, and could always bring a smile to everyone's face.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 10, beginning at 9:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106), Kingston, MA 02364. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with interment at the Halifax Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Croi Health, 120 Longwater Drive Norwell, MA 02061 (website: croihealth.org) whose staff provided exemplary care to Pam, or to a charity of your choice.
