Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia Cuneo, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Born on March 16, 1947, in Waltham, Massachusetts, Patricia passed away peacefully on October 13, 2026, at Sunrise of Plymouth, surrounded by the love of her family and the compassionate care of the staff.

Patricia was the cherished daughter of the late Myron and Helen Chamberlin. She shared a deep and enduring love with her late husband, Edmund Cuneo. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and treasured memories, surrounded by their family, including Ryan and his wife, Wendy; Garth and Sarah; and her stepdaughters, Evi, Joanne, and Heidi.

A devoted grandmother, Patricia adored her three grandchildren, Cameron, Brandon, and Quinn. Her eyes would light up whenever she spoke of them, and she treasured every moment spent in their company. Her love for them was boundless, and the memories they created together will remain forever in their hearts.

Patricia was a beloved sister to Helen (Chamberlin) Walsh and her husband, Tim Walsh, and a treasured aunt to her nephews, Tim and Kevin Walsh. Family was the cornerstone of Patricia’s life, and she drew immense strength, comfort, and joy from the love they shared.

A dedicated and hardworking professional, Patricia began her career at Boston City Hospital before moving on to excel in several accounting positions while raising her two sons. Her strong work ethic and commitment to her career culminated in her retirement from Pembroke Town Hall, where she served as assistant collector-treasurer.

Patricia was a woman of deep faith and a devoted parishioner of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kingston, Massachusetts. Her faith guided her through life’s challenges and triumphs, providing comfort, strength, and a sense of community throughout her life.

Patricia found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time at the beach, vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard, decorating, and shopping. Above all, she cherished time with her grandchildren, whose laughter and companionship brought her immeasurable joy. The memories they shared will be treasured for generations to come.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street, Kingston, Massachusetts.

A Mass celebrating Patricia’s life will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph’s Church, 272 Main Street in Kingston, Massachusetts. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance and celebrate a life so deeply cherished.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, in support of its mission to advance research for Parkinson’s disease, in keeping with the spirit of “All Grit, NO QUIT.”

The family extends its deepest gratitude to the staff at Sunrise of Plymouth and Sunset Hospice for the compassion, kindness, and loving care they provided to Patricia in her final days.

Patricia’s life was a testament to the enduring power of family, faith, and love. Though she will be deeply missed, her gentle spirit, generous heart, and the countless memories she leaves behind will live on in all who knew and loved her.

May she rest peacefully in God’s loving embrace, forever remembered and forever loved.
