Paul J. Schneider, 71, of Pembroke, died November 28 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Paul was a self employed Iron worker for over 30 years, retiring in 1995.Born and raised in Roxbury, he moved to Pembroke where he lived for over 45 years. He enjoyed traveling, vacationing in Maine and most of all he loved being around his family.He was the beloved husband of the late Ethel (Grunner) Schneider. He is survived by three daughters; Lisa Lingoes of Florida, Paula Bennes and her husband Eduard of Georgia, Sarah Schneider and her partner Paul Gilbrook, Jr. of Pembroke, and a son Erich Schneider and his wife Lisa of Maine. Paul is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a sister Jean Schneider of Plymouth, and his late siblings Ruth Edwards, Edward Edwards, Wanda Curtin, Mary Kimball, Richard Schneider, Harry Schneider, and Virginia Lyons, and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke Center, on Monday December 3 from 4-8PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:30PM. Memorial donations may be made to Pembroke Council on Aging, c/o Town Hall, 100 Center St., Pembroke, MA 02359.
