Paula Anthrop, age 81, passed away on October 1, 2026 following a period of declining health.

Paula was the daughter of Mario and Mildred Alfieri and the sister of Lee and Carl Alfieri (all deceased). She is survived by her late husband, Walter Anthrop Jr. and her three children Carrie Tiani of Hull, Eric Anthrop and Nick Anthrop, both of Kingston. Paula is also survived by her grandchildren Nolan, Nina, Nicholas, Nathaniel, and Natalie of Hull as well as Nora and Lila of Kingston.

Paula grew up in Kingston and graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School. She attended Northeastern University and Mass General Nursing School. Paula had a long career as a nurse, working in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, as a visiting nurse, and as a nurse analyst. She was active in the garden club and an avid reader, greatly enjoying exchanging books with longtime friends. Paula cherished her time and relationships with family and friends and was always available for someone in need.

Burial services will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to the organization of your choice.
