Robert J. Gaudet, 81, of Carver, formerly of Weymouth passed away December 12, 2023 . Beloved husband to Ludmilla Gaudet. Loving Father to Joseph R. Gaudet and wife Traci and the late Michael Gaudet, and Nicole Gaudet. Cherished grandfather to Natalia Orlandella, Grace Curtin, and Abigail Campbell. Robert is also survived by his niece and nephews Ben, Tim and Kate Makaroff.

Bob was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed cheering on his local teams. He also enjoyed and was very active coaching, and being a fan of Weymouth youth sports, especially baseball and hockey. In his later years he too great pride in watching his grandchildren play and compete in girls basketball and soccer. From the 1970's through the 2000's Bob owned and operated a moving company.

Bob was a member of gamblers anonymous and went on to help many others with their addiction.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 20th at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 130 Main St, Carver,  with a graveside service to follow at Union Cemetery in South Carver.
