Robert M. Murphy, of Duxbury, born to Robert J. and Frances S. Murphy on June 15, 1955 passed away on September 29, 2023. Beloved husband to Paula Murphy. Loving Father to Mellisa Prefontaine and Stephanie Boggier and her husband Keith. Brother to Stephen Murphy and his wife Carla, Daniel Murphy, Christopher Murphy and his wife Diane and Anne Trumbull and her husband Kit. Cherished Grandfather to Cassandra Herren, Mirabella Prefontaine, Aiden and Kaelyn Boggier. Robert is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as close friends.

Robert was employed by the Commonwealth of MA for 42 years in IT networking. Robert had a love for antique cars and was the former President of the Triumph Club of America. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding his Harley.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd from 8:30-10:30AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. Mass. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St in Duxbury.
