Sr. Roseanne Holden, C.D.P., 81, of Kingston, Sister of Divine Providence for 53 years, died Feb. 3. She was born Nov. 8, 1929, the only child of Herbert and Rose (Hyder) Holden. She is survived by her cousins Muriel Finn of Quincy and Gail Minassian of Norton, as well as her sisters in the community. Trained in food service, Sr. Roseanne ministered for many years, first at Cardinal O'Connell Seminary in Boston and then at Sacred Heart High School in Kingston. In later years, Sr. Roseanne served the school community in housekeeping, and purchasing school supplies.

Visiting hours on Mon. Feb.7 at the Providence House, 363 Bishop's Highway, Kingston from 2-5 and 6-7:30PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tues. Feb. 8 at the Providence House Chapel, 363 Bishop's Highway, Kingston at 4:00PM. Donations in Sr. Roseanne's memory may be made to the Lourdes Center, 363 Bishop's Highway, Kingston, MA 02364.
