Ruth M. Calhoun

Ruth M. Calhoun, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully of natural causes.

Ruth, aka Nana, 102, passed away in Middleboro, MA. She spent her time reading, a great love of hers, doing crossword puzzles, word searches, and reading the Bible.

She married Charles A. Lemieux in 1952 and remained married until his death in 1978. She then married David C. Calhoun in 1979 and they remained married until his death in 1998.

Ruth was very active in the local Roman Catholic Church, as well as Assemblies of God in Carver. She attained her Master's in Education in 1992, from Bridgewater State College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and spent many years counseling others and happily babysitting her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons, Charles Lemieux and Joseph Lemieux, six Grandchildren and seven Great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

A Funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heard Parish, in Middleboro on September 18th at 10:00am. Burial services will be private.
