Shirley Hall Rushton 91 passed away peacefully June 3rd. in the arms of her loving husband, Warren Rushton of 70 years.

Shirley grew up and raised her in Norwell and on Saquish Beach. When Shirley was 19 she opened her own restaurant "Shirley Restaurant "where she met Warren . She then busied herself raising her four daughters, Bonnie, Lynda , Debra and Penny. Shirley was also a proud grandmother "Ma" as they called her. Story, Stevenie, Elyse, Colby, Perry , Dana and Alanna. She was also "Ma" to twelve great grandchildren.

Shirley also spent many years as the chef at the Barnside Tavern during its hayday.

Shirley's happiest place was in her kitchen, making bread and jelly. She loved to feed her family and friends.  She loved Saguish and taking long walks along the water's edge,
