Thomas F. Burgess Jr. of Duxbury died after a long illness at his home on July 2, 2009 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife Carol (Dwinnell) Burgess, son Stuart Burgess of Tampa ,FL, daughters Anne Burgess of Duxbury and Melanie Ladson of Marshfield. Brother of Kenneth Burgess of Pembroke and Carolyn Marnnai of Pembroke. He is also survived by 2 Grandchildren. Thomas was a long time member of the American Legion , Marshfield Elks and Duxbury Yacht Club. Calling Hours will be held on Thur July 9, 2009 from 1-3pm with a service at 3pm in the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St.(rt 106) Kingston MA. All other services will be private.
