Thomas Martin Walsh, age 73, of Duxbury, died peacefully at home on Saturday, August 11, 2012.

Tom was a resident of Duxbury, MA, for 41 years and also of Bonita Springs, FL. He was a graduate of Western New England College with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and graduate studies in business administration. Tom became a manufacturer's representative in 1972, when he started T.M. Walsh Sales Co. and later Electronic Equipment Sales Co., both in Duxbury.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Mary (Lemanis) Walsh; three sons, Tom Walsh, Jr. (Lorraine) of Kingston, David Walsh (Carolyn) of New York City and Stephen Walsh (Kelley) of Hopkinton. He was predeceased by his son, Michael. Tom's greatest joys were his eight grandchildren, Haley, Alexa, Emily, Meghan, Taryn, Sean, Riley and Brady. He also leaves a sister, Patricia and her family of Agawam, MA.

A funeral Mass will be said at Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont Street, Duxbury, on Thursday, August 16 at 10:00 AM, followed by burial in the Mayflower Cemetery, 774 Tremont Street, Duxbury.
