Our beloved father, William "Bill" F. Klier of Duxbury, MA, formerly of North Weymouth, MA, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2023, at the age of 87.

He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Judith Klier.  He was the devoted father to his four daughters: Robin Silcox of Quincy, MA, Kellie Nolton and her husband Bill of Duxbury, MA, Traci Klier of North Weymouth, MA and Erin Eggers and her husband John of Duxbury, MA. He was the proud grandfather, "Billy", to 7 grandchildren: Sarah Scannell, Sam Silcox, Ben Eggers, Emily Nolton, Luke Eggers, Hannah Nolton and Noah Eggers. Brother of Marilyn Girouard, Patricia Miller, Janice Crowley, Joan Gianinni, Dorothy Harmon, and the late George, Paul, Joseph, Kenneth and Robert.

Bill was born in Boston, MA on December 23, 1935, to George and Mary Klier. Growing up in South Boston, MA, as one of 11 children, he was part of a large and loving family. In the early 1960's he met his soul mate, Judy, on Cape Cod.  In October of 1962, Bill and Judy were married and went on to have 4 adoring girls.  The two were never apart and Bill cherished her and his girls. Holidays and family travels were big events for them. Together they enjoyed hosting every holiday dinner for the family.

Bill and Judy shared a deep passion for running and it was a big part of their lives.  They began running in the 1970's and quickly came to love it.  Over the course of many years, Bill entered and won many races in his age group.  He also qualified for and completed in several Boston Marathons. After retiring from Boston City Hospital, Bill enjoyed traveling to California, Hawaii, around the Caribbean, and cruising with Judy. They were married for 57 wonderful years and were rarely seen apart before her passing in 2019.

Bill will be remembered as a kind, loving and dedicated family man who always helped those around him.

A memorial service will be held on February 17, 2024, at 10:30am at St Jerome Parish, 632 Bridge Street, North Weymouth, MA.  The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon at Tosca, 14 North St Hingham, MA.
